I got up when my alarm went off, but I figured it wasn't worth leaving the room that early just to run a mile, so I went back to bed for another half hour, promising myself that I'd run in the evening. Guess what.... it didn't happen. I did run this morning though- such a pleasant run. I ran with Lucas again, so that was good. No gloves, so my hands were rather numb when I was done.

March 27, 2008

I got up at 9 this morning to find everything white again. Hopefully this will be our last snow for the winter. I made my way over to the indoor track and ran my mile. I ran this one in 7:04, down 22 seconds from my last time (7:26). I guess the first few mile times will drop in rather major jumps, as my body gets used to running again.

March 26, 2008

Although I'm not known for being an early riser, I was able to get up for my run at 6 AM. I was quite surprised to find that after I had gotten over the initial grogginess, it was quite an invigorating experience. It was 31 degrees, so I wore my usual shorts and t-shirt, and threw a light hoodie sweatshirt on as well. My hands were quite numb by the end, but I'm pretty sure I'll survive ;). I'm definitely looking foreward to warmer weather, though. I ran slightly over my scheduled 20 minutes, getting back in 23 minutes instead. What a brilliant start to a morning!
