April 8

I ran my mile this morning at a time of 6:42. on the 5th lap (out of 8), I didn't want to continue, but I did anyway.

April 7

Yesterday morning, we ran 20 minutes again. It was sweet, cuz a lot of our running was on a gravel road, which was a whole lot more work on the muscles, which is good.

April 6

So I guess I haven't been keeping up on this blog so well... but I have been running! Sunday morning I did another 20 minute run, so that was a nice easy run, after doing 30 minute runs.

April 4

30 minutes... I have a feeling that we started out too fast this morning, since we were going at a real slow pace near the end. Ah well, it was still an excellent run. Got back a bit later, but thats to be expected, eh? Sunday's 20 minute run is going to relaxing after this.

April 3, 2008

Well, I can say I enjoyed sleeping in today... to 9:30!! I got my mile in- clocked at 6:44, so thats more than 15 seconds knocked down from last Thursday! Tomorrow I bump up from 20 minute runs to 30 minute runs, so that should be fun!!!

April 2

I hate to admit that I never ran yesterday. I got up when my alarm went off, but I figured it wasn't worth leaving the room that early just to run a mile, so I went back to bed for another half hour, promising myself that I'd run in the evening. Guess what.... it didn't happen. I did run this morning though- such a pleasant run. I ran with Lucas again, so that was good. The weather is slowly getting warmer, so it was right around freezing. I was pretty much out of energy when we finished our run, but I guess thats a good thing.

March 31, 2008

Despite my healing knee, I decided that I would run anyway. It wasn't that bad, and I didn't want to get in the habit of making excuses and ducking out of runs. Didn't run with the other guys, but I had my mp3 player and listened to a sermon by Ian Paisely. It was a 2 and a half mile run, which I did in 19 minutes. Half way through my run, the drizzle turned into sleet/ snow, but it kept me cool, so I'm happy.
